Kovalam
beach is located at a small distance of just 16 kilometres from Kerala's
capital of Thiruvananthapuram. Infact, along the 600 kilometre length of the
Kerala coast, there are numerous big and small beaches. But Kovalam stands
apart from the others for its breathtaking beauty, sunset cruises and
watersports. The beach is well visited by both domestic and foreign
tourists. The Kovalam village nearby has many small scale industries.

the capital for a refreshing break. But for those who find the sea breeze
intoxicating, good lodging and food as also available near the beach.
