Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam

Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam is the other prime attraction of Madurai. The annual float festival is held here in the months of January and February. The deity worshipped in the tank is Lord Vigneshwara.

Tirumalai Naik Palace

MaduraiTirumalai Naik Palace also attracts a large number of tourists. The sound and light shows held here are a hit among the tourists. Another old but attractive palace is the Gandhi museum that has been dedicated to Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.
